Monday+Getting Up Early=Lousy

Ugh. The start of another week. Mondays. I don’t know anyone who actually likes them. Im pretty sure it’s the combination of getting up early, having to go to work/school, and knowing that you have four mor days of it is enough to make you want to get back in bed and pull the covers over your head. And stay there. Sigh. Anyway, want to brighten up your Monday? Here are a couple of ideas. Please comment on what you think of them.

Improve Your Monday

  • Bake something Tasty. Then, you can enjoy it for the rest of the week and have fun cooking. A sweet way to start the week and take it for lunch/dessert to work/school.
  • Start a new book. Then, you can enjoy reading it for the next few days, and look forward to enjoying a new book on Monday.
  • Treat Yourself. For a nice start to the week, do something nice forĀ  yourself that you wouldn’t normally do, like buy yourself a small treat or give yourself a manicure/pedicure/spa day.
  • Talk to your friends. Call people you know and wish them a happy week and chat. Smile!
  • Organize your Backpack/Bag/ Briefcase. You’ll feel better with this done. Honestly. Then, your bag will have more room and less mess, ready for the week.
  • Plan your weekend. Your week will be better if you plan your weekend and have all week to look forward to it.
