Okay, so after a 5.5 hour plane ride, We finally made it to Hawaii! The hotel is reaqlly nice, It has tennis courts, a pool, ping-pong, and foosball. The beaches are awesome, and the weather is super sunny! After arrival here on Saturday, we went swimming at the beach and relaxed. Yesterday, Sunday, we visited and hiked through Iao Valley, which was prettu neat. Iao Valley is a Beautiful, dramatic valley where a battle was fought years ago. A freezing coldĀ river was running through the valley, and people were actually swimming in it, which was rather shocking. Then, after Iao Valley, we went snorkeling and boogie-boarding for a few hours, then it was off to the Maui aquarium for a special, after-hours event. The aquariom was really neat. There were tons of species of coral and fish that aren’t found anywhere else. There was all kinds of sea life, including turtles, fish and sharks. One of the coolest exhibits was the shark tunnel. It was a tunnel that went through the shark tank, which offered amazing views of the sharks! There was also all kinds of other things atĀ the event, including a raffle, an invasive species cook-off, a fashion show, and hula dancing! P.S. In the raffle, we won a really great picture of a turtle!

wow, sounds like so much fun, Keri! have you ever been to Hawaii before? I haven’t ever been, but hope to someday, before I’m too old to snorkel and enjoy the warm water!
p.s. if you want to be a serious writer someday (which I hope you are planning on because you have talent), you’ll have to proofread your posts and check for spelling and grammar mistakes!!! It’s good discipline, good practice, and (like exercise) will keep you in shape this summer! Remember, there is a spell-check in the posting window!
